New Coin Issued 3/28/2007 - TEN, NINE, EIGHT....The count down begins with the release of the Montana Statehood quarter. This coin is number 41 in the series or number NINE if you're counting down on how many are left to be released before the series is completed. Rumor in the coin industry is that some "smart money" is already taking positions on the Statehood quarters while prices are still low and building an inventory in anticipation of sharp upward price increases as the series draws to a close.
How high can they go? I can easily see a gain of from 20% to 30% from today's prices, and I have always been on the conservative side with my estimates! There is a huge market for the Statehood quarters in both NEW as well as USED condition which are picked from pocket change. The promoters will offer complete sets of Statehood Quarters on some TV program pointing out the merits of owning a complete set in CHOICE BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED condition, and they will be right, but their prices will be very high. As dealer supplies dwindle prices will increase.

Product Update 3/9/2007 - Whitman has just come out with the long awaited Folder #2 for the Lincoln Memorial Cent series. This Folder #2, Whitman number 8196, starts at 1999 to present date with additional ports to continue the series all the way to the year 2042.
New Product 3/1/2007 - Whitman's Presidential Dollar Collector's Archive is a folding board that measures 11.25" x 10" when closed and 11.25" x 20 when open. The board holds one coin for each of the presidents listed. All of the ports from Washington to Nixon have the presidents picture along with information below the port such as the presidents name and the years he was in office. New Product 2/9/2007 - Dansco has just released two of their intended four albums for the new Presidential dollars. They are as follows: Album #7186 which is a "date set" for the dollars and will hold one each of all the Presidential dollars issued. Album #7184 will hold both the "P" and "D" mints for each Presidential dollar issued. These two new Presidential Dollar albums can be found listed on our Dansco page for Dollar Albums.
Withen the next several weeks the other two albums are expected to be released and they will hold both the "P" and "D" mints as well as the special issue "S" Mint proof coins.
These new Dansco Presidential dollar albums are quite unique compared to all the other fine Dansco albums. The Presidential dollar albums have a general information page about the Presidents and on the reverse side are pictures of the presidents. The page on the right hand side of the album is for the coins.

New Product 1/25/2007 - Whitman has introduced a Frosty Case Coin Holder Storage Box. There are two different sizes available for these popular coin holders. One for the 2" x 3" holders and one for the 3" x 5" holders. Both boxes will hold 20 of the coin holders. Boxes have a flocked interior with dividers to keep the holders in an upright position.
