Ordering Information

Satisfaction guaranteed with a fourteen-day return privilege. We do not use RMA processing (return merchandise authorizations). If you have returns please enclose a letter with your returns including reference to your order number, the date of the original order and an explanation as to why the items are being returned. Items ordered in error, returned incomplete or missing manufactures origional package material are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Strict ANA, B & D and Photograding on all coins offered for sale. All merchandise listed on our web pages is subject to prior sale.
All prices shown are subject to market changes. We will E-mail you about market price matters as necessary.
We reserve the right to cancel items or orders due to price or typographical errors.
Our minimum shipping and insurance fee is $4.95.

Our order minimum is set at $10.00. Our shopping cart will warn you if your selection(s) are below this purchase level. Orders below the minimum are subject to the $2.00 Small Order Fee, this fee will be added at check out time.
Our shopping cart program gives you the ability to choose the shipping method; USPS Propriety Mail, or United Parcel Service (UPS)(*), and will compute the shipping charges based on the total weight and value of your order. (Priority mail is a mailing service provided by the United States Post Office, this shipping choice does not change the order to which your order is processed and shipped.) For prompt shipping of your order read "Rush Orders" below.
If you are ordering coins, your package will ship via the U.S. Mail. UPS will not insure package that include U.S. Coins, Bullion Products, Currency, and Government issued sets. Our shipping department will make this correction when your order is ready to ship.
If you are using a P.O. Box, shipments can only be sent by U.S. Mail.
Jake’s reserves the right to change shipping services to best serve our customers.
Rush Orders; items needed in 5 days or less (gifts, promotions and/or limited delivery time packages) or items that need special shipping arrangements (UPS/USPS Next Day Air, Fed Ex) other than those offered by our shopping cart program are only available upon request. Please complete your order online then contact us at 1-847-277-9814 during Business Hours (**) if you have a special request or any questions.
Payment for orders can be made with MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express, Optima, or Paypal(***). We also accept personal checks, bank checks and money orders; funds must clear before shipping. U.S. Bank clearing time is 15 days. International checks procesing delays can vary from 20-30 days. Payment options become available when you select "Check Out". Charge Card data supplied directly to Jake's will be processed with our Chase Merchant Services account or Paypal's Virtual Terminal service, we do not make you a member of Paypal with the use of the Virtual Service provided by Paypal.
Address verification is performed for all charge card purchases. The address and phone number provided must match your charge card billing statement information to complete your order. Incorrect information will cause a delay in completing your order. Alternate billing and shipping address option is available when checking out.
Bullion related items of Gold, Silver or Platinum can only be shipped to the billing address of the card holder. Due to the nature of these products in value we will use at our discretion our "Purchase Security Request" (PSR) document. If we make this request, your order will not be processed or shipped until this information is provided. This security process has been created to protect our business and prevent potential fraudulent use of charge and debit cards.
Bullion related items of Gold, Silver or Platinum are subject to market price changes. If we request our (PSR) document we will honor the prices for 24 hours, or subject these to a fix market price for the precious metal. If market changes exceed the quoted price point your order will be null and void.
Orders from outside the U.S. Including Canada and Mexico can be paid for with a charge card, Bank checks or money orders must be drawn in U.S. Funds on a USA affiliate bank. Bank fee for Non-U.S. Banks is an additional $5.00 service charge. If we are unable to address verify your address in the use of a charge card we will notify you of alternative payment options to secure your order.
Insurance is only available to a selected group of countries. When not available overseas orders will be sent at the buyers risk.
(*) UPS charges an additional handling fee of $5.00 if the shipping address is incomplete or inaccurate. Please make sure to include Apartment, Suite, or Floor numbers to properly address your package. This service charge will be identified and charged to customers making this error.
(**) Business Hours: Monday – Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
(***) Due to Paypal's scheduled weekly maintenance or unscheduled downtime our shopping cart will complete your order, but you will be unable to resolve payment at Paypal. Please click on the Paypal Logo to revisit their website and send us your payment.

Online Secure Shopping Cart: This is one of the simplest ways to place your order right on line while browsing. Just point and click and the item you have chosen will be added to your personal Shopping Cart. As items are added your invoice is constantly being updated with complete detail information showing you the items chosen, quantity desired, as well as a running total of your invoice amount including all shipping and handling charges.

One of the great features of Jake's Online Secure Shopping Cart is the ability to chose a shipping method of either United Parcel Ground Service or United States Priority Mail at any time before checking out. The ability to choose the shipping method guarantees you the lowest possible shipping and handling rate as they can vary widely depending on the value and weight of your order.

For your convenience if you are ordering by Phone, Fax, E-mail or U.S. Mail Jake's has two different Order Forms available for your use which will also give you our Shipping & Handling rates

The first is a simple html Order Form which you can access with any Internet browser. The second is a .pdf Order Form which will require one of the newer browsers with the ability to read a .pdf file.

Both Order Forms will have all the necessary ordering information for placing your order and are a great way to keep a copy of what you have ordered.

Fax Us Your Order: - Faxing us your order is a great way to get your order to us during the hours that we are closed. Faxed orders can be sent directly to Jake's 24 hours a day, seven days a week at: 1-847-277-9815.

Please be sure to fill in all the necessary information on either the html Order Form, the .pdf Order Form or one that you have prepared yourself, before faxing.

Order By U.S. Mail: - This was the good old fashioned way of sending in a mail order before all of these modern electronic gadgets and it still works just as good as it has for many, many years. Simply preprint either our html Order Form or our .pdf Order Form Print a duplicate so you can retain a copy for your records. Fill out the Order Form and send it directly to us at:

You may submit personal check, money orders or your charge card information when ordering by mail. Be sure to include the expiration date of the credit card you are using and the billing address of the charge card if other that the shipping address of your order. Personal checks must clear before shipping. Sorry, no C.O.D. orders are accepted.
