Most book titles are available as a single unit. There are however some instances where books are offered in dozens or case lots. The retail and wholesale prices shown are a single unit price. To arrive at your cost just multiply the single unit price by the quantity.

Jake's Secure Shopping Cart does not have the ability to recognize a Wholesale Order from a Retail Sale. Because of that all Wholesale Orders must be placed directly by phone with Michael R. Jacobs. Our phone numbers and hours of operation can be found on the Contact Us page.

Our selection of Numismatic Books is in the range of 300 different titles and still growing. That is far to many to list on a single page, let alone the time required to maintain and keep the list current.

If you are looking for any books at wholesale pricing it is best to contact Michael Jacobs at (847-277-9814) between the hours of 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM central time Monday through Friday.

Of the 300 plus titles we offer the discount will be 40% from the full retail price on about 80% of the titles, 20% to 30% on about 15% of the titles, and the remaining 5% are those titles that are so highly specialized that we ourselves do not even receive a sufficient discount where we can offer you any savings at all.

Under the category of General Information are those books that are excellent for the beginner as well as the intermediate collector who is seeking to gain knowledge about the hobby of coin collecting.

Grading Books
The Coin Grading section features books that will teach the collector on how to accurately grade coins. Knowing how to grade a coin correctly is an extremely important part of numismatics and a collector should learn the basics before buying or selling coins. A Grading book is absolutely essential.

Valuation Guides - U.S. Coins / U.S. Currency / World Coins / World Currency
There are quite a few different Valuation Guides available to choose from so we divided them into 4 sub categories. Some Valuation Guides are just for U.S. Coins or Currency while others may have both Values for Coins as well as Currency. This also holds true for the valuation guides for World Coins and Currency. There are Specialized Valuation guides like the ones for Canadian Coins or Canadian Colonial Tokens and Error Currency. Valuation guides are a great source for information pertaining to all facets of coins and coin collecting in general.

Coin Investing
When it comes purchasing coins for an investment we strongly recommend that you read one or two of the books available on this subject in addition to knowing how to grade coins. It could possibly make the difference between a winning or loosing investment.
