Jake's Special #1083

In 1982 the United States Mint changed the composition of the Lincoln Head Cent from copper, to zinc with a copper coating. There were also large and small date varieties produced. Each set of these 7 varieties of 1982 Lincoln cents contains the following coins:

Copper Cents - 95% Copper - 5% Zinc

1982 large date copper
1982 small date copper
1982 large date zinc

Zinc Cents - 97.6% Zinc - 2.4% Copper Coating

1982 small date zinc
1982 D large date copper
1982 D large date zinc
1982 D small date zinc

This set of 7 different varieties is truly a unique collectors item. These sets are becoming increasingly difficult to put together as some of the varieties are getting scarce.
